Data and Computing Infrastructure
Building a scalable, secure, and interoperable data platform to support precision oncology and AI tool development.
NAIPO transforms cancer care by integrating AI across the patient journey. We unite academia, hospitals, companies, and startups to drive innovation, reduce healthcare costs, and position Switzerland as a leader in personalized medicine.
We explore uncharted territories such as AI agents for assisting clinical decisions, large language models for mining clinical records, foundation models towards analysis and prediction, and privacy-preserving algorithms for securely handling sensitive patient information.
The subprojects are tightly connected through a shared AI model suite, which builds on the data and computing infrastructure. It integrates clinical, imaging, genomic, and other biomedical data sources.
